LeBron Raymone James Sr. was born on December 30 in 1984. He is an American pro basketball player. King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the best basketball player ever. James has won four NBA championships four NBA MVP Awards, and four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has the highest points in the playoffs and has the second highest number of career points and is seventh in ever assists. James has been named an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times, and was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The third highest amount of NBA Finals ever was ten, with eight being consecutive between 2011-2018. In 2021, James was chosen to join the NBA 75th Anniversary Team, and in 2022 became the first player of NBA history to score 10,000 or more career points as well as assists and rebounds. James played basketball at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio. James was feted by national media as the next NBA superstar. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest selection by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. Named the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year he soon established himself as one of the best league players winning his NBA MVP Award in 2010 and 2009. After failing to win the championship Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to join the Miami Heat this was announced on television in the program The Decision and is among the most controversial free-agent decisions throughout sports history.
