Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Julia Fona Roberts is the 4th generation Roberts who reside in Atlanta. Her father was the first interest to stage. While in school of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus and in Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953 and, while stationed in Biloxi Mississippi, he was a part of a military production that included Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the air force. The couple got married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. The couple divorced in 1957. the Air Force and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou financed their own production of a local children's Sunday matinee show called Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
